British Columbia Roadtrip

Canada is a motorhomist's dream, encompassing sparkling lakes, soaring mountains, outdoor adventures and many a wildlife beauty.  Canada's summer months, April to May, are sunny and warm and perfect for exploring.  The off peak months are slightly cooler but a lot less busy and possibly slightly cheaper. British Columbia is dotted with thousands of Campgrounds and a 4 berth camper can go from as little as $50 per day.

Begin your journey of two to three weeks in Vancouver, picking up a Motorhome to suit your needs.   Leaving Vancouver take a short ferry ride with your Motorhome across to Nanaimo.  Explore the charming and quaint towns that surround the area like the Town of Ladysmith.  spend the day popping into lovely shops, engrossed in the history of the area or spend some time at the Maritime Museum.  Stop into Transfer beach where the kids can play on the playground or you can take a stroll, picnic or kayak at the beach.

After Nanaimo, head north to Telegraph Cove to whale-watch, head further up the fjord to Port Hardy looking out for Deer, bears, eagles, squirrels and many other birds and mammals. Take a stroll up the Seagate Wharf in Port Hardy before  rejoining the mainland by Ferry up the Queen Charlotte Sound to Bella Coola.

Odegaard Falls is one of British Columbia's highest waterfalls at about 900 feet tall. Drive up the bumping road leading to the falls from Bella Coola and be blown away by the captivating scenery. Prepare yourself and walk the trail to the falls.

Take the Chilcotin route to Nimpo Lake, lose all civilization and be lost in the magnificent scenery outside your Motorhome on route to the alpine waters.

Join cowboy country in Williams Lake where you are open to a plethora of outdoor activities.  Take another hike or a cycle, go for a fish, kayak, raft or dive.  Many a spectacular viewpoint is available for wildlife viewing if you haven't seen enough on your drive.

Go south on the Gold Rush Trail ( Caribou Highway)  to Lytton for some white water rafting and then warm up in Harrison Hot Springs.  From here spend some more night at the foot of soaring mountains, aside pristine lakes or head back on the highway to Vancouver.

Canada's British Columbia is the place for an unforgettable Motorhome vacation and it is calling your name.   Get yourself a Motorhome through RV Rental Sale Finder Canada and book your Canadian BC motorhome vacation now!

The rugged beauty of Yukon in an RV!

Dusk in Yukon
By Yukon Government
Take an RV to explore Canada's rugged, wild and unspoiled far north - Yukon.  Yukon's climate is arctic resulting in a brief summer but a beautiful place to explore.  Ignite the adventure in yourself, book an RV and go on vacation.

Yukon's government offers 41 clean and scenic campgrounds along the main highways with picnic tables, campfire pits and picnic shelters.  A lot have prime access to fruitful fishing spots or walking trails.  The Yukon area is one of the best areas in the world for wilderness adventures.  Get your fish on, go for a hike, jump on a bike or in a canoe or raft and view the wildlife and spectacular scenery from the heart of the territory.  Sounds like the dream Canadian trip.

June to August is the best time to travel in your RV but fall and spring on either side may be chillier but they do have some benefits; snow sports, autumn leaves and more of a chance to view the breathtaking Northern lights.

Be sure to head to the Kluane Lake.  This "place of many fish"  is an anglers dream, giving you the chance to catch lake trout, arctic grayling, rainbow trout and kokanee.  Catch some fish, head back to the RV, cook up the fish and settle in for a cosy night in the camper.

The two main cities in Yukon are Whitehorse and Dawson City.  Whitehorse is a small city where history and culture combine with stunning scenery of mountains and clear lakes, nestled on the banks of the Yukon River. A delight to visit.  Dawson city is also on the banks of the Yukon river and displays a wonderful array of saloon style buildings.

Join the wilderness, the picturesque but rugged landscapes and explore Yukon! The perfect vacation in an RV!

Find an RV from RV rental sale finder Canada and look for RV parks here if  you don't want to wing it when driving through Yukon.  You can pick up RV's in  Whitehorse or drive in from a surrounding city like Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver.
