The rugged beauty of Yukon in an RV!

Dusk in Yukon
By Yukon Government
Take an RV to explore Canada's rugged, wild and unspoiled far north - Yukon.  Yukon's climate is arctic resulting in a brief summer but a beautiful place to explore.  Ignite the adventure in yourself, book an RV and go on vacation.

Yukon's government offers 41 clean and scenic campgrounds along the main highways with picnic tables, campfire pits and picnic shelters.  A lot have prime access to fruitful fishing spots or walking trails.  The Yukon area is one of the best areas in the world for wilderness adventures.  Get your fish on, go for a hike, jump on a bike or in a canoe or raft and view the wildlife and spectacular scenery from the heart of the territory.  Sounds like the dream Canadian trip.

June to August is the best time to travel in your RV but fall and spring on either side may be chillier but they do have some benefits; snow sports, autumn leaves and more of a chance to view the breathtaking Northern lights.

Be sure to head to the Kluane Lake.  This "place of many fish"  is an anglers dream, giving you the chance to catch lake trout, arctic grayling, rainbow trout and kokanee.  Catch some fish, head back to the RV, cook up the fish and settle in for a cosy night in the camper.

The two main cities in Yukon are Whitehorse and Dawson City.  Whitehorse is a small city where history and culture combine with stunning scenery of mountains and clear lakes, nestled on the banks of the Yukon River. A delight to visit.  Dawson city is also on the banks of the Yukon river and displays a wonderful array of saloon style buildings.

Join the wilderness, the picturesque but rugged landscapes and explore Yukon! The perfect vacation in an RV!

Find an RV from RV rental sale finder Canada and look for RV parks here if  you don't want to wing it when driving through Yukon.  You can pick up RV's in  Whitehorse or drive in from a surrounding city like Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver.
